Assistant Manager Retail

Job Title : Assistant Manager Wage Range : $20 Hour Employee Type : Hourly - Non-Exempt Assistant Managers work with the General Manager in organizing, planning and implementing store strategy. They coordinate day-to-day retail operations and ensure store schedules and objectives are met by team members. Responsibilities : Regular and predictable attendanceHire and train BudtendersMonitor inventory and orderingCoordinate daily customer service operations (e.g., sales processes, orders, and payments)Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual objectivesMonitor and maintain store inventoryEvaluate team member performance and identify hiring and training needsSupervise and motivate the team to perform their bestCoach and support new and existing BudtendersMonitor retail operating costs, budgets, and resourcesSuggest sales training programs and techniquesAnalyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioningHandle complaints from customersResearch emerging products and use information to update the stores merchandiseCreate reports, analyze, and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses, and competitionConduct regular audits to ensure the store is functional and presentableMake sure all employees adhere to company policies and guidelinesAct as the stores representative and set an example for our teamAdditional responsibilities as assigned by manager Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications : Proven experience as a Retail Assistant Manager or similar positionExperience with recruiting and performance evaluation processesFamiliarity with financial and customer service principlesGood math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets, and sales statisticsProficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)Leadership and organizational abilitiesInterpersonal and communication skillsProblem-solving attitudeFlexibility to work all shiftsMust be at least 21 years of ageMust have or be able to obtain a Marijuana Server Permit
