We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kids' Gymnastics Manager to lead and manage our children’s gymnastics program. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, developing and implementing training programs, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, and fostering a positive, encouraging environment for young athletes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of gymnastics techniques and safety protocols.
This job requires availability in weekday afternoons and weekends(Saturday and Sunday as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Implement and oversee age-appropriate gymnastics classes and activities for children of various age levels
- Create a structured curriculum that promotes physical, mental, and emotional development in young athletes.
- Coordinate class schedules, ensuring maximum participation and staff coverage.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage gymnastics coaches and assistants.
- Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development to staff.
- Organize regular team meetings to review program goals, share best practices, and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Safety and Cleanliness:
- Ensure all gym equipment is properly maintained and safe for use.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, conducting regular safety drills and assessments.
- Ensure cleanliness of the facility and maintain hygiene throughout the gymnastics
- Customer Service & Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, answering questions and addressing concerns related to their child’s progress and program experience.
- Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a supportive community environment.
- Handle program registration, scheduling issues, and other logistical matters with efficiency and professionalism.
- Marketing & Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the gymnastics program through events, social media, and other promotional activities.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and strategies to attract new participants.
- Organize performance showcases, competitions, or other events to highlight student achievements and promote the program.
- Budget and Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage the program's budget, including tracking expenses, revenue, and payroll.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost savings or program growth.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with trends in children’s gymnastics and youth sports development.
- Conduct workshops and events to continually improve the quality of the program.
- Encourage feedback from parents, staff, and participants to enhance the program and service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing or directing gymnastics programs, or similar sports programs for children.
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety protocols, and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for working with children and helping them develop their skills and confidence.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or the ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in afternoons and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in gymnastics coaching (e.g., USAG, AAI, or other recognized organizations).
- Experience in program development, curriculum design, or educational instruction.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role or community outreach.
