Job Description
Your role at Tumi:
As an Inventory Control, you will ensure accuracy of product in bin location(s).
Responsibilities
- Create cycle reports
- Maintain accuracy of inventory, track and research discrepancies and maintains daily records and error logs
- Maintains daily communication with Shipping & Receiving department for correct product locations
- Keep accurate daily inventory records
- Take physical count of product and compare counts on SAP if a discrepancy is found
- Will include the use of pallet jack or cherry picker lift to move and relocate product
- Scan product out of bins from transfer order and transfer
- Perform cycle counts
- Other assigned duties and overtime as needed
We're Excited If You Have
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required
- Computer knowledge is required
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general information
- Exposure to SAP a plus or another mainframe inventory control system.
- Excel skills
- Lifting from 5 to 20 lbs. as needed
- Frequent standing and walking
- Will have to work in uncontrolled temperatures at times
