Job Summary
The Business Analyst - Regulatory Change Management role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and enhance Regulatory reporting processes. This position requires working closely with Regulatory reporting process owners, Lines of Business, and Data owners to gather requirements, prepare documentation, and ensure IT solutions meet Regulatory Reporting needs. The role also includes devising testing strategies, reviewing testing artifacts, and leading implementation efforts. This position will be a hybrid role based out of NYC or Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
- Work with Regulatory reporting process owners to understand tools, business requirements, and rule specifications.
- Collaborate with Lines of Business and Data owners to elicit requirements and create Business Requirement Documents.
- Develop Functional specifications defining data requirements and Business Rules for IT system development.
- Create Testing Strategy, define Test Plan, and review Testing artifacts with stakeholders.
- Perform financial data analysis for various regulatory reporting requirements.
Required Skills
- 8-12 years of experience in Business analysis; Data analysis experience preferred.
- Financial Product and data analysis experience, having worked with large datasets including Transactional and Reference data.
- Nasdaq Axiom Configuration experience 3-5 years in Web version
- Axiom knowledge or implementation experience would preferred in US Reporting packages like CCAR (14M,Q), Y9C, 101 etc.
- Experience in eliciting Requirements from User groups and preparing Business and Functional Requirements artifacts.
- Experience in North America Regulatory Reports and processes like CCAR(14Q,M), Call Reports, Y9C,Basel etc.
- SQL understanding or knowledge to facilitate data analysis.
- Understanding of User Acceptance testing and building of testing strategy/test plans. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field required.
Preferred Experience: Supported multiple enterprise systems implementations in a Business Analyst role. Having SQL knowledge for data analysis will be preferred. Having Financial Regulatory Reporting experience will be added advantage.
