Our Client has been the industry leader in commercial and multifamily flooring installation in central Texas for the last 20 years and are looking to expand our multifamily presence in the Dallas market.
The client specializes in the sale and installation of commercial and multifamily flooring products including (but not limited to) carpet, sheet vinyl, hardwood, LVT, rubber, stone, and ceramic tile and have built strong partnerships with industry-leading general contractors, developers, architects, designers, and flooring manufacturers. The ideal Multifamily Business Development Representative will be pivotal in growing and expanding our presence in the Dallas Multifamily market, support and help execute our sales strategy, deliver successful projects to our customers, and ultimately drive sales results and revenue. This sales professional will grow and manage a new base of customers and work side-by-side with our Multifamily business development manager and project management team. This position will report to the Multifamily Business Development Manager.
Essential Job Duties :
- Represent the client's offered services to general contractors, developers, and other outside entities to drive new bid invites for multifamily projects in the Dallas Multifamily market
- Participate in weekly sales meetings
- Plan monthly call list of customers and bi-weekly calendar and project focus to sales manager
- Conduct outbound calling and emailing to set face-to-face appointments with clients
- Learn and demonstrate the knowledge of commercial flooring products to clients
- Ensure outstanding customer service through regular client follow up via phone and email
- Fortify key existing relationships with general contractors and end-users
- Prospecting of new customers through various channels
- Work with project management team to win projects through follow-up meetings
- Attend in-office manufacturer demos and product update presentations
- Plan, organize and participate in special events for developers, general contractors, architects, designers and vendors
- Becoming an active member and participating in different trade organizations regionally, and nationally
Qualifications : Proven sales performance demonstrating effective prospecting and closing
