Role Overview: The Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing data integrity across the organization. This position involves extensive data management, including cleaning, integration, and analysis of large datasets to support strategic business decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial team to maintain accurate and actionable data that aligns with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Lead efforts in advanced master data management, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various data points. Responsible for the daily integration and cleaning of data from multiple sources.
- Data Visualization: Utilize tools like PowerBI and Tableau to develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate business insights to stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on data to prevent and resolve inaccuracies and inconsistencies. Ensure all business-critical data is reliable and up-to-date.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment between internal databases and external data sources. Provide technical expertise and support in decision-making processes.
- Problem Solving: Address challenges related to data discrepancies and lags, employing strategic problem-solving skills to maintain continuous data flow and accuracy.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Master’s degree in Data Analytics or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Proficient in SQL and data mining techniques.
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce for data management and dashboard creation.
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI and Tableau.
Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Previous experience in a data-intensive role within the CPG sector.
