Employee Duties: The Activation Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of brand activations and events, ensuring they align with the overall marketing and brand objectives. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing live events, pop-ups, product launches, and experiential marketing activities that engage target audiences and drive brand awareness. The Activation Manager works closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, logistics, and client-facing teams to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality, on-brand experiences.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of brand activations and live events from concept to completion.
- Oversee event logistics, timelines, budgeting, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
- Ensure all activation elements are aligned with brand guidelines, objectives, and target audience needs.
- Coordinate with creative and design teams to ensure event setup, visuals, and experiences meet brand standards.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with event vendors, suppliers, contractors, and partners.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as venues, sponsors, influencers, and media to ensure successful event execution.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and vendors throughout the event process.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and manage on-site event teams, including brand ambassadors, event staff, and support personnel.
- Provide clear direction, delegate tasks, and ensure the team is trained and prepared for event day.
- Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop detailed budgets for each activation and event, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards.
- Track and report on event expenditures, and ensure events are executed within budget.
- Source and manage resources, equipment, and materials necessary for successful activations.
Event Promotion and Marketing Support:
- Work with the marketing team to develop pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing strategies.
- Coordinate social media activations, influencer partnerships, and PR initiatives to amplify event awareness and engagement.
- Capture and analyze event metrics (attendance, social media engagement, brand sentiment) to measure success and optimize future activations.
Post-Event Evaluation:
- Conduct post-event debriefs and provide detailed reports on event performance.
- Collect feedback from attendees, clients, and stakeholders to assess the success of the activation and identify areas for improvement.
- Track KPIs and ensure that all event objectives were met, providing insights for future improvement.
