Job Description: Vehicle and Lab Technician
- Work with Camera, Ultrasonic, and Radar systems
- Installation of development hardware and sensors for demo and test vehicles.
- Fabrication of brackets, test fixtures, and other components required for hardware installation and minor diagnostics/repairs to vehicles.
- Interface with Application and System Engineers
- Builds and assembles mechanical and electrical components for prototypes and customer samples.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and wiring problems.
- Install electrical systems for customer vehicles.
- Install and configure lab equipment.
- Maintains the inventory of consumable components and requests re-stocking.
- Follow prescribed instructions to conduct various manual procedures.
- Use electrical measurement equipment and documents results.
- Read and analyze automotive schematics and shop manuals.
- Work with multiple vehicle networks
- Maintain an organized workspace and be knowledgeable about shop and garage safety.
- Work with 3D printing
Key Skillset:
- Automotive System hardware and wiring.
- Knowledge of ADAS Ultrasonic, camera, and Radar systems
- Highly motivated, energetic, and flexible
- Experience working with electrical hardware
- Experience with LAN and WLAN
Qualifications:
- Automotive Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical associate degree
