What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop Employee position at Tunica National Golf & Tennis?
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Process sales transactions, including merchandise and golf/tennis fees.
- Book and manage tee times and court reservations.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Provide information about course conditions, events, and promotions.
- Maintain knowledge of golf and tennis equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Assist with merchandise stocking, pricing, and displays.
- Handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately.
- Ensure the pro shop is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist with tournament and event check-ins.
- Communicate with course maintenance and operations staff as needed.
- Promote membership programs and loyalty incentives.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally.
- Assist with club rentals and demo equipment.
- Monitor and enforce pro shop policies and procedures.
- Keep track of inventory and assist with reordering stock.
- Provide assistance with gift certificates and special orders.
- Encourage sales through upselling and product recommendations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
- Represent the facility in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
