5.10 Telecommunication Support Services REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Contractor is required to have a current Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I (A , Network , or SSCP) and Computer Environment (CE) Certifications (which is required IAW DODI 8570 for privileged access to computer systems). - The Contractor shall provide telemedicine network design, planning, and implementation service support to include:
- Technical evaluations within subject domain as
- Develop and suggest SBIR/STTR topics that are relevant to CLIENT’s
- Provide subject matter expertise assistance in the development of test plans for evaluation
- Design networks and subnetworks for telemedicine sites and provide recommendations on existing network
- Assist and advise the Government in developing overall objectives and strategy for service provision to selected sites.
- Develop a Network Implementation Plan to include installation and testing for the networks, insuring hardware, and software compatibility to the terminal device level. This plan shall be tested to ensure interoperability of terminal devices, control devices and transmission media and connectivity is
- Perform network and related installations and ensure that the implementations follow the Coordinate testing.
- Support in Field Evaluations and Exercises
- Network Architecture Development
- Integrate and configure 3rd party hardware and software into telemedicine network, ensuring operational
- Contractor shall assist and advise the Government on matters related to operational field medicine communications. The contractor shall assist in the preparation of classified reports and documents up to the security level of Secret.
- Provide technical support to field evaluations. This will require contractor to drive a Government sedan/van/pickup in addition to a Government High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV).
- Telecommunications support
- Assist in the design of wide area or local area communications networks and subnetworks for telemedicine sites. The networks may include a mixture of various wired (analog or digital) and wireless (microwave, radio, satellite) modalities. The networks will provide communications capabilities appropriate to the projects or missions defined by the Government, subject to the restrictions of local communications assets, or assets that can be added or brought to the site.
- Develop written recommendations on the most effective and efficient connectivity
- Assist in the acquisition planning and implementation of equipment required by network
- Manage and maintain network and computer communications equipment for DoD data and voice This includes installing, testing, and operating communications equipment. Equipment includes tactical radios, portable satellite, and V-Sat communications equipment. Systems used are VOIP, Cellular and PBX systems. Configure and maintain ISDN, Cisco and IDNX voice video and data equipment.
