Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director-Special Education SELPA Director, provide instruction, assessment and program planning for special education students with a primary disability of autism, deaf-blindness, moderate to severe intellectual disability, multiple disabilities, and/or serious emotional disturbance; monitor and evaluate students progress and behavior; research, obtain and provide instructional materials for special education services; serve as an informational resource for students, parents, District personnel and community organizations; work within a self-contained classroom.

To qualify for the full $20,000 incentive, the Teacher or Education Specialist, Mild/Mod & Mod/Severe must possess a current Preliminary or Clear Credential in Special Education, Moderate/Severe, Mild/Moderate, or eligible for a preliminary Credential
To qualify for the partial $10,000 incentive, the Teacher or Education Specialist, Mild Mild/Mod & Mod/Severe must be enrolled as an Education Specialist with a California District/University Intern permit
