Job Description: Tuopu USA, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced EHS Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in an EHS or Safety technician role. Candidates should have a strong foundation in safety practices, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to our fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct safety observations to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
· Address safety concerns through corrective actions and coaching moments.
· Investigate accidents/incidents and complete detailed reports.
· Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
· Exercise Stop Work Authority (SWA) when necessary to ensure a safe work environment.
· Provide safety training for new hires and current employees, including forklift operator (FLO) training and certification.
· Assist with hazard communication and ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials.
Knowledge and Skills Preferred:
- Knowledge of fall protection and fall prevention techniques.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E standards (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of ergonomics and its application in the workplace.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new safety protocols effectively.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an EHS/Safety Technician role.· High school diploma or equivalent · Ability to work collaboratively and accept coaching.· Moldable mindset with a strong desire to grow within the role. Tech Levels:
- Level 1 Technician: Entry-level position focusing on core responsibilities with guidance from senior staff.
- Level 2 Technician: More experience and decision-making capabilities compared to Level 1.
