Job Description: Tuopu USA, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Custodian to join our team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment, with a focus on the upkeep of common areas such as restrooms, break rooms, and general work areas.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and mirrors.
- Maintain cleanliness of the break room: wipe down tables and counters, empty trash, mop floors, and restock supplies.
- Sweep, mop, and/or scrub warehouse floors and walkways as needed.
- Remove trash, recyclables, and other debris from workstations and common areas.
- Dust and clean surfaces, equipment, and shelves as required.
- Refill and maintain cleaning and sanitation supplies throughout the facility.
- Assist with minor maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs or reporting facility issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to proper handling guidelines.
- Perform other cleaning-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in an industrial or warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening if required.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
Working Environment:
- Physical Demands– Continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight.
- Visual/Sensory – This position requires attention to detail, requiring attention with one or two senses at a time.
- Work environment – Work and environment fast paced, requiring ability to remain focused under pressure.
- Schedule – This role will primarily be Monday – Friday but must be flexible to work nights and/or weekends as needed to support the business.
- Climate - This position requires the incumbent to have the ability to work in ambient hot and/or cold seasonal environments.
