Overview:

If so, we invite you to join our team as an Animal Foster Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing temporary care and finding suitable foster homes for animals in need.
Job Purpose:
Reaches out to fosters to help them understand the foster process, address any questions and concerns, and maintain communication and maintain patient schedules.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure foster family needs are met.
- Handle foster questions and concerns or refer fosters to the appropriate TLHS team member to handle.
- Record outreach efforts and notable foster feedback.
- Ability to handle animals and perform basic veterinary technician procedures.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintains necessary documentation. Issues reports as directed.
- Performs necessary follow-up checks as required by email and/or phone.
- Monitors social media, phone and voicemail, text, and email messaging.
- Assists with the reception area as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Clerical experience in an office setting is desired.
- Computer experience with email, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with co-workers, the public, and the telephone.
- Must maintain a valid driver's licence
- Must be willing to work with and handle animals.
Working Conditions:
Typical shared office setting with assigned desk. May stand or walk on concrete flooring for extended periods. Open area near front doors with people traffic coming in and out. Will handle and interface with animals as required to perform the job.
Requirements:
Must be able to move about, handling documents, packages, etc. Must be able to operate a vehicle. Must be able to handle animals for transport and adoption purposes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
