Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Project Manager to support the delivery of critical technology initiatives for the Merchandise Planning & Allocation (MP&A) function. This role will be split between two major projects:
- Migration of JDA (Blue Yonder) from Rackspace to AWS: Leading the seamless migration of the existing JDA infrastructure to AWS, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maximizing the benefits of a cloud-based environment.
- o9 Assortment Planning (AP) Project: Driving progress on the o9 Assortment Planning implementation, a strategic initiative to enhance assortment planning capabilities and improve business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, a solid understanding of supply chain and planning systems, and the ability to navigate complex technical and cross-functional challenges.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology and enterprise systems. Retail industry preferred.
- Proven track record of managing complex migrations (e.g., JDA or similar systems) and implementing supply chain or planning technologies on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and planning platforms (JDA, o9, or similar). SaaS Implementation a plus.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Utilize expertise in Microsoft Outlook and Teams to facilitate effective communication and scheduling across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of MP&A processes and systems.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms and their integration into planning systems.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification.
