Job Description:
- Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Location: 175 High Street - Newton, NJ (07860)
- Guaranteed Hrs.: 38hrs./week (4x9.5)
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
Pay Package:
Hourly Rate: $47.5/hr. on W2
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week (Non - Taxable)
Weekly Gross: $3,051/week
Requirements:
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) & IABP
- Active Radiologic Technologist License for NJ state
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab Tech or IR experience
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and physiological responses during interventions.
- Collaborate with the medical team to evaluate diagnostic results and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and functioning before and after procedures.
- Provide emergency support as needed, utilizing BLS and ACLS certifications.
