Shipping General Helper
Job Summary: To operate the Shipping Dock orderly and efficiently per established shipping and receiving procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Compliance with individual performance objectives as established by Shipping Management.
- Perform daily physical product inventory for Fresh Dock products as requested or necessary.
- Assist in annual physical inventories and daily cycle counts as requested or necessary.
- Answer internal and external customer requests in a courteous and timely manner.
- Communicate frequently with Shipping Foreperson concerning any issues regarding safety, product quality, and/or equipment.
- Accurately record and perform all inbound and outbound functions per established departmental procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Power Industrial Training Certification
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred, food manufacturing ideal.
- Good communication skills and ability to quickly grasp tasks quickly.
- Reliability and dependability is a key factor for success with the company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.65 per hour
