Job Summary
We are Commercial Real Estate firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/ Office Manager to oversee our office operations and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and experience with financial software, ensuring that our administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently. Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including clerical tasks and administrative support.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize financial software such as Quickbooks and Appfolio to manage corporate accounting functions.
- Support the accounting team with technical accounting tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial matters.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in real estate accounting.
- Proficiency in financial software such as Quickbooks and Appfolio is preferred.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for data entry accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
