Delivery Driver

Located in Shawnee, KS we are a family operated business. Must be 21 yr, NO CDL required!

You’ll work with a diverse team and receive great hourly pay with starting wages of $19.75 per hour depending on experience. Daily hours are 9:15am-7:30pm with a 4 day work week and flexible schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Load, transport and deliver small envelope size packages to customer residences and businesses, in all types of weather
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Provide excellent customer service with a smile
• Operate smart phone and GPS technology
• Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
• Work as a team by assisting fellow drivers with finishing their routes as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, required(multiple tickets can disqualify)
• Employment is contingent on passing a background check and pre-employment drug screen(4 panel screen, marijuana is not included for pre-employment)
• On the road safety while being an alert and defensive driver, required; previous commercial or delivery driving experience a plus!
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Self-motivated and able to take individual initiative, and work well in a team environment
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, attentive, courteous and service oriented
• Positive team-player demeanor, and a passion and interest in Turbam’s mission
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb in/out of delivery vehicle throughout entire shift, climb stairs, and walk long distances
