Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist at Turbine Controls MRO in Bloomfield, CT. The Machinist will be responsible for operating machine tools to produce precision parts, performing quality control checks, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining equipment. Additionally, the Machinist will collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects. Multiple positions available.
Qualifications
- Machining experience in an MRO facility a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Must have experience with CNC machining (Grinding/Turning/Honing)
- Manual VTL experience is a plus
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree/certification preferred
