Title: Receiving Inspector
Reports to: General Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Receiving Inspector to join our team. The Receiving inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of small aircraft parts and materials as they arrive at the facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure that all incoming parts meet quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect Incoming Part and Materials:
Check received parts against purchase orders, specifications, count, documentation and industry standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Quality Control:
Perform visual inspection, verifying appearance, part number and other critical parameters of parts.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Record inspection results, note discrepancies or defects, and communicate findings to management.
- Compliance Verification
Ensure parts meet FAA, ISO 9001, ASA-100 and other relevant regulatory and quality standards for aerospace parts.
- Inventory Control
Support inventory management by labeling and storing parts according to standard.
- Date Entry:
Use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or other software systems to log information about received parts and materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to use computers and computer systems, such as Outlook and ERP system.
- Experience with small parts inspection, especially in aerospace or a highly regulated field.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 or FAA regulations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good communication skills to establish working relationships with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must!
Education and Experience:
- At least two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of the two.
- Previous experience in receiving required.
- Previous experience in quality assurance required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
