Description
Reporting to the Engineering Manager or delegate of the TET unit, this role leads some Engineering projects as
delegated. The KPI’s for this role are safety, OTD, TAT. The successful candidate will be driven by a strong bias for action,
continuous improvement, and solid employee relations. As such, the Engineering Intern will be responsible for delivering
on a lean manufacturing strategy that improves material flow and reduces cost. This position may also be involved in
working with engineering and sales to introduce new manufacturing capabilities into the shop in support of the unit’s
growth strategies.
· Prepare and maintain engineering drawings under the supervision of a senior engineer.
· Prepare technical documents related to the repair and overhaul of gas turbine products.
· Track projects to assure completion within the designated schedule.
· Assist Senior engineers in completing other tasks as assigned.
· Familiar with aerospace machining and fabrication processes and technologies
· Computer proficient in typical office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
· Technical data maintenance and reporting for tracking critical process parameters in support of process improvement
activities.
· Design of tooling and equipment.
· Support repair development process.
· Ability to read and interpret O.E.M. Repair/inspection manuals, illustrated parts list/ catalog, blue prints, engineering
drawings, sketches, engineering drafts.

Requirements
· Two years of study towards a B.S degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, or aerospace).
· Ability to think strategically and develop and implement business strategies.
· Personal computer skills including Microsoft Office suite software such as Word and Excel, Power Point.
