The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and driving sales for rental downhole drilling tools. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining customer accounts, and providing technical support to drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities in downhole tool rentals and expand the customer base.
- Negotiate rental contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
- Provide technical product knowledge and support for mud motors, friction reduction tools, and stick-slip mitigation tools.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure tool availability and delivery to customers.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and drilling challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and customer meetings.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in downhole tool rentals, sales, or oilfield services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but extensive direct experience in sales, tool rentals or existing client base will be considered in place of formal education.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of downhole drilling tools and applications.
- Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Occasional travel required for meetings, events, and conferences.
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and working on a computer.
