Description
The QC Inspector’s responsibility is to make sure that the products and the manufacturing process meet Turbo Drill Industries, Inc’s quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect parts, assemblies and subassemblies to drawings and prints.
- Initiate non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications.
- Assure that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Initiate corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature.
- Complete, inspect, and distribute all quality records and documents.
- Perform specialized testing as required.
- Use basic hand tools to repair minor imperfections to threads.
- Verify tests as required on all components and completed assemblies.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in QA/QC.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact with co-workers, managers, customers, and vendors.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment around large and noisy equipment.
- Valid Driver’s License.

- Balancing; climbing up to 8 feet; crouching; feeling; manual dexterity; handling; hearing; kneeling; lifting and carrying over 50 lbs; pulling; pushing; reaching arm’s length; standing for long periods of time; stooping; walking; visual acuity (visual perception of detail at distances close to the eyes, data and figures, computer terminal, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts.
