This is an opportunity to join the team early. You’ll work directly alongside the founder, learn every aspect of production, and play a key role in shaping how our product is made. As one of our earliest hires, you'll have the opportunity to grow with the company, take on more responsibility over time, and help shape how this team and business operate from the inside.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of salami, deli meats, sausage, and bacon
- Cure and brine meats, prepare ingredients according to recipe and safety protocols
- Operate commercial production equipment (grinders, mixers, stuffers, slicers, sealers)
- Slice, package, label, and box finished products
- Follow strict sanitation and cleaning protocols daily
- Work in refrigerated environments and lift/move heavy product (up to 50 lbs)
- Pay close attention to detail and follow written/verbal instructions precisely
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in food production or kitchens is a plus—not required
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet
- Comfortable working in cold conditions
- Clean, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Willing to be trained using our internal production manual and safety guidelines
- Committed to showing up and contributing to a team atmosphere
Schedule
This is a weekday, daytime position—no nights or weekends. Most days start around 7:00 AM, but the end time and weekly schedule will flex based on production needs. Some weeks may be four days, some five, depending on what’s happening. As we grow and build inventory, hours and workload will likely increase. We’ll always communicate clearly.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
