The Field Operations Specialist is part of Turf Tank's Operations department and will report to Field Operations Management. This position’s territory is North Carolina, but it will also support customers in the surrounding states.
The Field Operations Specialist will be the front line of our field operations. It will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through on-site robot setup, user training, territory management, and ongoing support. You’ll work directly with customers to ensure successful deployments of our robotic systems and provide continuous support to maximize their value and performance.

Field Operations Specialist
Job Description
The Role
The Field Operations Specialist is part of Turf Tank's Operations department and will report to Field Operations Management. This position’s territory is North Carolina, but it will also support customers in the surrounding states.
The Field Operations Specialist will be the front line of our field operations. It will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through on-site robot setup, user training, territory management, and ongoing support. You’ll work directly with customers to ensure successful deployments of our robotic systems and provide continuous support to maximize their value and performance.
What You’ll Do
Robot Setup and Customer Training
- provide robot users with robust, on-site training during new robot setup
- ensure hardware and software configurations meet operational standards
- troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues setup
- deliver hands-on training sessions for customers and their teams on system usage, safety protocols, and best practices
- provide clear documentation, resources, and follow-up support to ensure user confidence and autonomy
- serve as the primary field point of contact within your assigned region
- build strong relationships with customers to drive satisfaction, retention, and long-term success
- monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues within your territory
- provide timely, high-quality support, both remote and on-site, to address customer inquiries and technical problems
- act as the liaison between customers and internal technical support teams to drive positive customer feedback
- communicate technical and complex information, both verbally and written
- work independently and within a team, managing your own time

- stand for 8 hours or more
