Job Overview:As a Landscape Foreman, you will be the leader on-site, overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping crews. Your leadership will ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards, within the scheduled time frame, and with exceptional customer satisfaction. You will guide your team through all phases of the landscaping process, from installation to maintenance, while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscapers to complete projects efficiently and to high standards typically 2-3.
- Coordinate daily tasks, manage resources, and allocate materials as needed
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and within scope, keeping projects on schedule
- Oversee the installation of plants, hardscapes, irrigation systems, and other landscaping features
- Provide hands-on training to team members, ensuring safe and high-quality work practices
- Communicate with clients to address needs, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction
- Conduct quality control inspections to guarantee completed work meets company standards
- Maintain and monitor equipment and tools to ensure safety and functionality
- Uphold all safety regulations and ensure your team follows safe work practices
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of variable foreman or supervisory experience in the landscape field.
- In-depth knowledge of landscaping practices, including plant care, hardscapes, and irrigation systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a team and handle job site challenges
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime when necessary
- Outgoing personality
- Adapts to change well
- OSHA or other relevant certifications are a plus
