Summary
We are seeking a Lead Spray Technician to join our team at Turfco. In this role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to various landscapes, ensuring the health and beauty of our clients' lawns and helping other technicians with applications, mixing and questions. Your work will directly contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional lawn care services.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of lawns and landscapes to assess treatment needs.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in safe working condition before use.
- Educate clients on lawn care practices and pest management solutions.
- Document all treatments performed and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Assist other technicians with preparing for their route.
- Coordinate with the office and other lead spray tech to efficiently plan schedules and equipment that will be used.
- Assist other technicians with basic troubleshooting with equipment issues.
- Help with training other technicians to complete quality applications safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Must have an ISDA issued professional applicator's license.
- Minimum of two years experience in the lawn and pest control industry doing spraying applications.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
