Job Summary As a Lawn Care Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, building strong relationships with potential and existing clients, and educating customers on the benefits of our services. Your primary focus will be on selling customized lawn care solutions that meet the needs of homeowners and businesses. You will engage in direct sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and following up on leads. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Generation : Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, networking, and referrals. Follow up on inbound leads and customer inquiries in a timely manner. Attend community events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our services. Sales & Customer Consultation : Conduct on-site lawn evaluations and provide tailored recommendations for lawn care services. Present and explain service options, pricing, and benefits to potential clients. Address customer concerns and objections while demonstrating the value of our services. Customer Relationship Management : Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Provide excellent customer service and follow up with clients after service initiation. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and service agreements in CRM software. Collaboration & Reporting : Work closely with the service team to ensure seamless scheduling and service delivery. Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals. Qualifications & Requirements Experience : Previous experience in sales, preferably in lawn care, landscaping, pest control, or a related industry. Experience in B2C (business-to-consumer) sales preferred. Skills & Competencies : Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. Self-motivated and goal-driven with excellent negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic knowledge of lawn care services and treatments is a plus (training provided). Technical & Physical Requirements : Proficiency in CRM software, email, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to walk, stand, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
