What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Cash Operations/Player Services Supervisor-Nights position at Turfway Park?
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Cage, Main Bank, Vault and the automated redemption machines (Kiosks) during the assigned shift. This position is also responsible for Player Services which supports the Marketing Department, assists with player accounts, player card sign up, greet and welcome all guests. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsibilities:
§ Safeguards cage assets. § Monitors cage activities for adherence to company policies and gaming regulatory requirements. § Assists the Cage Manager in hiring and scheduling cage operations personnel. § Instructs, guides, and counsels assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties. Prepares and coordinates the periodic performance reviews of assigned personnel. § Recommends changes to management for improvements to assigned areas of responsibility. § Implements cage department policies and procedures established by company management consistent with internal controls and gaming regulations. § Reviews cage department statistical and financial reports for accuracy. § May conduct fund exchanges for patrons during an emergency situation or as deemed necessary by management. § Performs other departmental job functions as needed. § Verifies and takes custody of property generated cash and cash equivalents. § Maintains accountability for cage assets; verifies count of various bank funds. § Prepares and makes the daily deposit of property generated cash and cash equivalents. § Performs related duties and special projects as assigned. § Verifies each shift’s bundled and strapped currency on scope basis. § Performs related duties as assigned.
