Job Summary: Payment Collection & Processing
Duties
- Payment Collection & Processing:
- Monitor customer accounts for incoming payments.
- Record payments and update accounts.
- Follow up on overdue payments and send reminders.
- 3. Customer Account Management:
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are properly recorded.
- Handle customer inquiries related to billing.
- 4. Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare accounts receivable reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
- Maintain proper documentation of transactions.
- 5. Credit Control & Compliance:
- Assess credit risks and set credit limits for customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Work with collection agencies if needed.Accounts Payable (AP) Duties:
1. Invoice & Expense Processing:
- Receive, review, and process vendor invoices.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
2. Payment Management:
- Prepare and process payments (checks, wire transfers, ACH).
- Ensure timely payments to avoid late fees.
- Maintain vendor payment records.
3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues.
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts.
- Negotiate payment terms when necessary.
4. Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Maintain proper records for audits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- La Verne, CA 91750: Relocate before starting work (Required)
