Job Overview: As an Echo Technologist at Turkey Creek Medical Center, you will perform both routine and complex echocardiography procedures, providing preliminary interpretations to assist in diagnosis. You’ll work with a variety of exams including trans-thoracic, trans-esophageal, stress, and contrast echocardiograms using advanced contrast agents. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting our patients’ heart health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret a range of echocardiography exams, including advanced trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms
- Provide accurate preliminary interpretations of studies to physicians
- Work independently and manage both routine and complex cases under general supervision
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Graduate of an accredited Echocardiography or Cardiovascular Technology program
- 1-2 years of Echo Tech experience preferred
- Registry in Echocardiography through ARDMS or CCI
- Advanced knowledge in performing trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms
- Two to three months of orientation to department protocols and equipment
