Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
Turkey River Ag Sales is seeking an experienced Technician to join our growing team with excellence in the Cresco, IA area.  We are looking for a self-driven person, passionate about performing top notch work, collaborating with a winning team, and serving our farm clients that provide our food.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver’s License
• Proficient with general hand and power tools
• Ability to travel away from home
• Physical ability to climb

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

• This position currently reports to the Office Administrator.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equal
• Is a fast learner
• Prior electrical and computer experience is preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Able to problem solve/troubleshoot in the field.
• Skilled in customer relations.
• Ability to maintain a positive company image and brand.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication and listening to customers.
• The ability to communicate in a straightforward fashion with co-workers, customers, sales and services
• Ability to work independently with safety-focused mindset
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a timely matter.
• A courteous and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle peak volumes of work.
• Ability to troubleshot and repair equipment on the job site.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Perform other necessary job-related duties or responsibilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Perform physical work such as climbing, reaching, standing, walking.
• 100% on road with in-house support
• 40 hours per week guaranteed except during a few busy seasons (harvest), in which it could exceed.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
