What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Assistant position at Turlock Mosquito Abatement District?
Positions: Seasonal Assistants
Season: April – October, (2) Field Assistants 40 hours per Week and (1) Lab Assistant up to 32 hours per week
Job Opportunity:
The Seasonal Assistants will perform routine fieldwork to assist mosquito control efforts in our District. Some tasks may include placing/ collecting mosquito traps, identifying and treating mosquito sources, recording activities on the computer, and providing residents with information on mosquitoes.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Have a High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Have a valid California Driver’s License and must be insurable by the District’s auto insurance carrier.
- The selected candidate will need to provide a current DMV printout and must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test before being hired.
