Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our telecom OSP (Outside Plant) construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction administration, particularly within the telecom sector, and an understanding of the unique demands of managing projects for service providers such as AT&T and Comcast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for OSP telecom construction projects, ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure that construction activities run smoothly and according to schedule.
- Process permits, contracts, and change orders related to OSP construction projects.
- Maintain detailed records of project milestones, progress, and challenges, ensuring timely reporting to key stakeholders.
- Assist with managing the procurement of materials and supplies required for telecom OSP construction projects.
- Coordinate project scheduling and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Track project budgets, expenses, and timelines, ensuring alignment with the agreed-upon scope of work.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external vendors, service providers, and local authorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction administration, specifically related to telecom OSP construction.
- Previous experience working on projects for major service providers such as AT&T, Comcast, or similar telecommunications companies is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of telecom construction processes, including fiber optic installations, trenching, and utility coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in construction administration, particularly in telecom OSP.
