YOUR LIFE AS A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL - PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT
This part-time caregiving position offers flexible hours:
- Pleasant Grove - Thursdays from 3:00 - 6:30 pm, Fridays from 3:00 - 7:00 pm, and Saturdays from 12:00 - 4:00 pm
- Provo - Wednesdays for 2 hours (schedule is flexible) and Thursdays from 7:00 - 10:00 pm
- Mapleton - 2nd and 4th Sundays from 1:10 - 3:40 pm
As a Direct Support Professional - Personal Care Attendant, you support individuals with developmental disabilities. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including medication administration, hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping. You also assist with grocery shopping, running errands, and finding activities that they enjoy. As needed, you provide physical support such as lifting individuals in and out of wheelchairs.
Using effective mentoring techniques, you provide hand-over-hand assistance. You help maintain individuals' spending ledgers and review their checking/savings accounts as needed. You also assist with employment, making sure individuals are able to perform their jobs as expected. Conscientiously, you keep accurate and up-to-date documentation as well as promptly report any concerns about health or safety. You find it rewarding to help others lead self-fulfilling lives!

TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.
