OUR MISSION
TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.

HOW OUR SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT DIRECT CARE WORKER MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Typical hours will be Monday - Friday , with a start time of 8 : 30 am . Flexibility will be needed based on clients jobs which includes Saturday and Sunday's at times.
As an entry-level Supported Employment Direct Care Worker, you support clients in all aspects of the job-hunting process. Working one-on-one with our clients, you help them figure out what types of jobs they'd thrive in and then assist them in obtaining those jobs. You provide support with resumes, interview skills, and job searching, helping clients find gainful employment. If there are any concerns or barriers to employment, you solve the problem the best you can. You offer ongoing support and keep in contact with each client's employer to make sure the new job is a great fit!
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Networking skills, communication skills, and the ability to build and foster relationships
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record, and ability to transport individuals in your vehicle
