About The Role
Turn/River is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to bridge the gap between financial data and strategic decision-making. This role will drive the development of financial dashboards, data models, and analytical frameworks that empower the Turn/River operations team and executive teams at the portfolio companies with actionable insights.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience working with financial and operational data, and a deep understanding of financial reporting and key business metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Partnership – Collaborate with GTM, R&D, RevOps, FP&A, and Accounting teams to enhance financial insights and drive business impact.
- Financial Modeling & Reporting – Develop models and reporting structures that provide transparency into business performance and key financial metrics.
- Executive Dashboards & Reporting – Build and maintain financial dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) that integrate financial and non-financial data for real-time decision-making.
- Data Analysis & Modeling – Identify trends, uncover opportunities, and develop attribution models and root cause analyses to improve forecasting and decision-making.
- Data Accuracy & Reconciliation – Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reconciliation between ERP, GTM, and financial reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Financial Acumen – Understanding of financial reporting, KPIs, general ledger management, and accounting processes is a requirement
- Cross-Disciplinary Exposure – Experience in FP&A, Revenue Operations, Due Diligence, or Auditing, with a proven ability to identify underlying value drivers, KPIs, and process gaps.
- ERP Data Model Expertise – Experience working with ERP systems and financial data models (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, etc.).
- Strong Analytical Skills – Proficiency in Excel and SQL to analyze large datasets and extract key insights.
Location
- San Francisco, hybrid work model (Tues/Wed/Thurs)
Compensation
- The annual base salary range for this role is $155,000 - 170,000 taking into account numerous variable factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational requirements.
