Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote (Washington, DC)
Job Description:
Our client, a leading commercial real estate advisory firm, is seeking a Financial Analyst with 1-2 years of operational accounting or finance experience to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in AP/AR accounting and support functions related to low-level GL work. Experience in a real estate or professional services firm is highly preferred. This role will heavily support the accounting team and work closely with sales professionals, specifically handling commission calculations. A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from a reputable university is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with operational accounting tasks, including account reconciliations
- Support sales professionals by preparing commission calculations
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team on GL-related functions
- Maintain strong attention to detail while managing finance-related projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a solid university
- 1-2 years of operational accounting experience (AP/AR)
- Real estate or professional services background strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and experience with commission calculations
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Compensation:
- $65K - $75K 10% bonus (based on individual and company performance)
