What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interim Financial Controller position at Turn2Partners?
We are currently representing a growing professional services organization based out of the DMV area. This opportunity is fully remote and would prefer candidates be in the eastern time zone. Picture perfect candidates will have a CPA, Public/Private Exp, SaaS Exp, and ASC 606 Exp.
- Manage accurate and timely financial reporting
- Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, T&E and general ledger teams
- Manage optimization of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate accounting
- Work closely with financial planning & analysis team on reporting efforts and monthly accruals related to budgeting and forecasting
- Lead, develop and improve the close processes for a fast-paced, rapidly growing SaaS company
- Enhance the control environment around the internal controls for financial reporting
- Co-Lead all accounting integration & valuation for mergers & acquisitions
- Provide leadership required to strengthen and grow the accounting team, with a commitment to recruiting, training, and mentoring
- Use technology to build scalable/sustainable processes to create efficiencies and streamline accounting operations
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting under US GAAP
- Comprehensive understanding and prior experience with design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Merger & acquisition and integration accounting experience
- SaaS company background a plus
- Proven track record to hire, manage and mentor hard-working teams
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in accounting or finance
- CPA required
- At least 10 years work experience in the accounting area
- 4 years of "Big Four" or national accounting firm audit experience
Salary : $70 - $90
