We’re on the hunt for a Senior Platform Engineer who thrives in high-stakes environments, managing and deploying mission-critical compute infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments. If you love working with Kubernetes beyond just managed services and enjoy tackling the challenges of disconnected, degraded, and isolated network conditions—this role is for you!
What You’ll Do:
✅ Architect, deploy, and maintain physical & virtual infrastructure for Kubernetes platforms
✅ Manage AWS cloud compute resources (EC2, EBS, S3) & VMware deployments
✅ Build and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
✅ Implement storage solutions and Kubernetes CSI systems
✅ Develop automation scripts & pipelines to streamline deployments
✅ Work in hybrid environments—cloud, on-prem, and edge
What You Bring:
🔹 6 years of hands-on experience in platform engineering
🔹 Expertise in bare-metal Kubernetes deployments
🔹 Strong background in AWS infrastructure and virtualization technologies
🔹 Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC)
🔹 Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
🔹 Ability to obtain Security within 90 days and Secret Clearance
Bonus Points For:
✨ Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
✨ AWS Certified Security Specialist / SysOps Administrator
✨ Experience with DoD security hardening & STIGs
✨ Managing compute resources for Kubernetes clusters
📍 Location: Hybrid – (up to 3 days/week)
✈️ Travel: Up to 10%
