Under the direction of IT Dev Business Analyst, the QA Analyst will be working closely with the development team on testing new and existing functionality of software applications developed in-house. This position is responsible for identifying bugs, testing solutions, and verifying that the software functionality meets requirements.
Year 1 is going to be about:
- Ensures highest quality and successful launches of in-house software applications by testing new and existing functionality.
- Works with the development team on completing testing and verifying software functionality by target dates.
- Works with Business Analyst to review business requirements and system specifications to create and execute internal test plans as well as user acceptance testing plans.
- Works with Business Analyst to resolve order maintenance tickets and sends feedback to Business Analyst and IT Development Team.
- Develops and maintains regression test scripts which can be used for testing future system modifications.
- Generates development tickets based on validated bugs.
- Creates documentation on test exceptions.
- Identifies where current test plans fall short and creates new scenarios to cover the gaps.
We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful. So, we need you to have:
- Experience: 1 years of experience in quality assurance and testing software applications or 1 year of experience as a “power user” of applications used by Turn5.
- Ability to prioritize and manage personal workload effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT Development Team.
- Must be able to troubleshoot software issues independently.
- Proficient in test management and creating test cases.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an elevated level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and communicate clearly.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced and cross- functional environment.
