About the Role:
The Learning Leader Barber will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of aspiring barbers at PMTS Phoenix, AZ. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that not only meets industry standards but also inspires students to excel in their craft. The Learning Leader will mentor and guide students through practical and theoretical lessons, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the barbering profession. Additionally, this role involves fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and personal growth among students. Ultimately, the Learning Leader Barber will contribute to the overall success of the program by producing skilled, confident, and job-ready graduates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid barbering license in the state of Arizona.
- Valid Barber Instructor Licence
- Proven experience as a barber with a strong portfolio of work.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience in a barbering or cosmetology setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
- Familiarity with current trends and techniques in the barbering industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and effective barbering curriculum that aligns with industry standards.
