Job Overview
Turnberry Ocean Colony is seeking a professional and vigilant Security Guard/Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our luxury residential community. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, excellent observation skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the property to prevent unauthorized access and ensure resident safety.
- Control entry points and verify credentials of guests, vendors, and employees.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
- Enforce community policies and regulations professionally and discreetly.
- Provide assistance to residents and guests while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security reports.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly.
Requirements
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Valid Florida Security License (D License) required.
- Strong observational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a luxury residential setting.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
