Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and well-organized candidate to support and maintain the flow of clinical operations and client care for our Young Adult (18 to 30 years old) Women's program. Responsibilities include engaging as an active team member and liaison between Clinical and Residential staff; coordination and communication of the clinic's daily appointment schedule; assisting with the management of the client milieu within the clinical building to ensure a safe therapeutic environment for clients and clinical staff; and additional administrative tasks requiring a proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Responsibilities :
Providing direct support to clients in the clinic to encourage engagement in treatment
Understanding clinical operations in order to prioritize and problem solve efficiently and professionally
Establishing a positive rapport with clients to assist with managing the milieu, de-escalation, crisis management and client engagement
Communicating as a liaison between Clinical and Residential Teams
Directly observing urinalysis drug screening and coordination with on-site laboratory
Responding to clinical records requests through electronic fax
Coordination of daily and weekly client appointment scheduling
Assistance with management of client and clinic safety procedures
Requirements and Skills for the position would include but not limited to :
Prior experience or exposure to working in a healthcare or treatment - type setting, and / or having an understanding of mental health and / or addiction
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Administrative experience and strong organizational skills, essential for prioritization and problem solving
Any experience with client management and / or an ability to remain calm and communicative for milieu and / or crisis management
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Collaborative style and desire to work a Team model setting, within a multi-faceted system
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and ability to learn and navigate electronic health records (EHR)
