Job Description
Turnbridge is a dual-licensed outpatient psychiatric and substance use treatment facility located in New Haven, CT. Centered on evidence-based practices, Turnbridge is recruiting for an associate clinician with interest in treating young adults (18 to 25 years old) with co-occurring disorders.
- Individual, Group, and Family Therapy
- Leading group therapy sessions to provide a supportive environment for clients to work on their challenges, develop coping skills, and build social support.
- Utilizing evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients address specific mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use disorders.
- Emphasis on interdisciplinary team work
- Develop individualized treatment plans that address the client's specific needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based therapies and interventions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
- Work effectively with other professionals and staff within the treatment setting to ensure efficient and collaborative care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Eligibility for this position requires a master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in a behavioral health-related field. This includes graduate degrees in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- CT licensure must in good standing as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPC-A or LMSW to be considered for this position
