Position Summary: Carry Out Associate
Turner Ace Hardware has an immediate opening for a Carry Out Associate. The primary responsibilities of the Carry Out Associate is to maintain outstanding customer service, assist in maintaining a clean store, greenhouse, warehouse, and yard, and support the store management team.

Major Responsibilities
- Ensure each customer receives exceptional customer service. (Primary interactions with customers will be when loading product into their vehicles)
- Handle ALL carry-out calls that come over the radio.
- Check parking lot periodically for shopping carts that need to be brought back to the store, and for trash to pick up.
- Bail all cardboard boxes
- Building and moving furniture. Please note: all merchandise must be treated with extreme care. Dragging furniture or handling in a manner that could or does result in damage is grounds for termination. All merchandise is intended to be purchased by a customer, who expects merchandise to be in Brand New condition. All associates handling merchandise need to ensure we maintain Brand New condition.
- Place merchandise on the sales floor in a way in which it is safe and shoppable, under the guidance of management or decorators.
- Maintaining a clean store including customer facing sales area, bathrooms, warehouse, yard. Taking trash to the dumpster, sweeping, mopping and general cleaning required.

- Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
