About the Job
Turner Business Appraisers is growing, and we need a valuation trainee to perform valuation engagements. We will train you to complete multiple types of valuation assignments and work independently. Our firm conducts business valuations for bank loans, gift and estate tax returns, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and strategic planning purposes.
Expectations and Responsibilities
· Conduct research to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including financial information, compensation and rewards, and corporate performance.
· Research, gather, and analyze data to determine the appropriate salary level and job title for normalizing officer wages and job positions.
· Conduct market pricing, assisting in peer group selection, survey analyses, interpreting salary data, financial modeling, and special research project.
· Develop report and proposal writing as it relates to describing and summarizing project objectives, methodologies, analysis, and results as well as proofing for accuracy.
· Respond to client-related requests as appropriate.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Discipline.
· 2 years of tax, audit, finance or similar experience.
· Commitment to excellence, honesty, and professionalism.
· Strong organizational skills that include the ability to prioritize correctly, stay on task, and complete by agreed date.
· Superior customer service skills e.g., prompt response to customer requests, meet commitments, understands how to de-stress a situation.

We are seeking someone with the ability to manage the large and small tasks that come with our small but growing office. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, etc. You should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and be able to work on diverse types of assignments under a deadline at the same time. Preferred candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree.
