Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project engineering tasks, including reviewing contracts, drawings, and specs.
- Lead and supervise engineering teams (Assistant Engineers, Interns).
- Serve as the main point of contact for architects, subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors.
- Oversee MEP budgets, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
- Ensure MEP systems meet project requirements.
- Develop work scopes, schedules, and reports on cost control, safety, and quality.
- Conduct walkthroughs and meetings to ensure alignment with design and timelines.
- Handle project close-out, securing warranties, final records, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s in engineering or related field; 4-8 years of relevant MEP experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, project management software; BIM and LEAN experience a plus.
- Deep understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, cost management, and scheduling.
- Skilled in interpreting construction documents, contracts, and specs.
