Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis (HQ)

Position Description: Responsible for the yearly business plan, analysis of monthly results and impact on yearly performance.

Location: New York Office

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Produce Quarterly 4-Quarter look ahead forecasts to be reviewed by Senior Management and submitted to Hochtief.
• Manage, Present, and submit annual business plan to Hochtief. This responsibility includes:
  • In-depth analysis of business conditions
  • Technical update of the HACE mapping file, 3-Year model, and other modelling tools
  • Presentation of proposed forecast to senior management
  • Submission of approved plan via HACE online portal
• Development of yearly targets by EVP member taking into account current business conditions, and a goal to reach anticipated target.
• Responsible for monthly updates of Proforma forecast model, including updating variance analysis, quarterly and fully year road-maps, and a reconciliation of actuals with HQ accounting team.
• Responsible for Quarterly Net Working Capital Analysis
• Expectation to manage and produce ad-hoc analysis of business metrics & conditions as needs arise
• Analyze business risks, and the impact on profitability
• On-going focus on continuous improvement, and implementing Lean solutions
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting/Finance/Engineering or related field plus a minimum of seven years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, in particular a high level of skill with Excel and ability to analyze large quantities of data using Business Intelligence tools. Exercises independent judgment and discretion; has the ability to identify problems and make recommendations for resolution. Operates with minimal direction and little or no supervision. Ability to perform cost analysis and be organized for maximum efficiency; basic understanding of Accounting Principles; Demonstrated leadership, management, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

 The salary range for New York City candidates for this position is estimated to be $$112,200 - $173,900 annualized.
